Let Them Have King Cake

For this project, I was tasked to illustrate a lettering composition for the 2025 King Cake Festival in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The foundation of the illustrated type comes from the inspiration of Victorian typography. During the construction of this composition, it was important to create a typeface that was fun and danced and interacted with one another to illustrate the excitement of the festival.
